Roger Pierre (Paris, August 30, 1923 – Le Port-Marly, January 23, 2010) was a French actor, comedian, and director. He is best known for the famous comedy duo he formed with Jean-Marc Thibault, with whom he worked for over thirty years. Together, they wrote and performed numerous sketches for theater, television, and radio, becoming popular figures in the post-war French entertainment scene, notably through programs such as *Les Grands Enfants*. Concurrently, he pursued a prolific film career, appearing in over fifty films. His roles include successful comedies such as *Le Triporteur* (1957) and appearances in auteur films such as Alain Resnais's *Mon oncle d'Amérique* (1980), a testament to his versatility. Also active as a lyricist, he wrote lyrics for several artists, including Henri Salvador. For his significant contribution to French culture, he was made a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
