Ruth Dwyer
Ruth Dwyer (1898-1978) was an American actress, primarily active during the silent film era. She rose to popularity in the 1920s, establishing herself as a leading actress in numerous comedies and dramas. Often starring opposite male stars of the era such as Reginald Denny, her filmography includes notable titles like *The Reckless Age* (1924), *His Majesty, Bunker Bean* (1925), and *The Brown Derby* (1926). In 1925, her talent and growing fame earned her the prestigious recognition of being named a WAMPAS Baby Star, a promotional title awarded annually to young actresses considered to be among Hollywood's most promising. Like many of her contemporaries, her career declined with the advent of sound films, leading her to retire from acting at the end of the decade after her final film appearance in 1928.
