Safit Pardede, born in 1985, is an Indonesian visual artist and painter, considered one of the leading figures of his generation. His artistic work is immediately recognizable for its unique figurative style, characterized by elongated and distorted figures, often placed in dark and allegorical settings. Through his works, primarily created with oil on canvas, Pardede conducts a profound social and political critique, exploring themes such as the abuse of power, corruption, inequality, and the contradictions of contemporary Indonesian society.
