Sam Kittrell is an American visual effects producer and executive, known for his long and influential tenure at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), where he held key roles such as Executive Producer. During his time there, he supervised the visual effects production for highly successful films such as *Jurassic Park*, *Forrest Gump*, and *Twister*, helping to define new standards for the industry. Subsequently, he co-founded Mass Illusion, a company that contributed significantly to the revolutionary effects of films such as *The Matrix Reloaded* and *The Matrix Revolutions*. In 1998, Kittrell received a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his contribution to the development of morphing technology, a pioneering technique that transformed digital cinema.
