
Saul Rubinek
Saul Rubinek is a Canadian actor, director, and playwright, born on July 2, 1948, in a displaced persons camp in Föhrenwald, Germany, to Polish Jewish parents who were Holocaust survivors. Known for his versatility as a character actor, he has built a prolific career in both film and television. On the big screen, he has played memorable roles in acclaimed films such as Clint Eastwood's *Unforgiven* (1992), as the writer W.W. Beauchamp, *True Romance* (1993), where he played producer Lee Donowitz, and *The Contender* (2000). In television, he is widely recognized for his role as Artie Nielsen, the agent in charge of the secret warehouse in the science fiction series *Warehouse 13*, and for his recurring role as Donny Douglas in *Frasier*. His work also extends to directing and writing for the stage. For his artistic contributions, he has received numerous nominations for the Genie and Gemini Awards, Canada's most prestigious film and television awards.
