Sean Anthony Frye, born September 16, 1966, in Hollywood, California, is a former American actor and artist, best known for his work as a child actor during the 1970s and 1980s. His most celebrated role is that of Steve in Steven Spielberg's blockbuster film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982), a performance for which he shared a Young Artist Award for Best Youth Cast in a Motion Picture with the young cast. His career had begun earlier with appearances in films such as "Fun with Dick and Jane" (1977) and Albert Brooks' "Real Life" (1979). He also worked in television, appearing in series such as "Little House on the Prairie." After his role in the film "For Keeps?"
