Shinpachi Tsuji is a Japanese actor and voice actor, born on October 20, 1955, in Chiba Prefecture. Known for his deep and authoritative voice, he has built a prolific career voicing countless characters in anime, video games, and the dubbing of foreign media. His most iconic roles in animation include Makarov Dreyar in *Fairy Tail*, Doppo Orochi in the *Baki* series, Kraken Isaac in *Saint Seiya*, and numerous supporting characters in franchises such as *Gundam* and *One Piece*. His versatility has also made him a prominent figure in the dubbing of international films, becoming the official Japanese voice for actors such as J.K. Simmons (including the role of J. Jonah Jameson in the *Spider-Man* franchise) and Danny Trejo. His contribution to the industry was formally recognized in 2019 when he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 13th Seiyu Awards.
