
Teresa Gimpera
Teresa Gimpera (Igualada, 1936) is a Spanish actress, model, and entrepreneur. Established as one of Spain's most celebrated models in the 1960s, she became an icon of Barcelona's so-called 'gauche divine'. Her film debut came in 1965 with the film *Fata Morgana* by Vicente Aranda, which established her as one of the leading faces of Spanish cinema. Her prolific career includes over one hundred film and television productions, spanning numerous genres from thriller to horror, and including several international co-productions, particularly Italian. She has worked with directors such as Gonzalo Suárez, Duccio Tessari, and Bigas Luna. In addition to her acting career, she founded a well-known modeling agency, consolidating her influence in the world of fashion. For her significant contribution to culture, in 2017 she was awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi, one of Catalonia's highest honors.
