Teri McMinn
Teri McMinn (Houston, August 19, 1951 – September 15, 2024) was an American actress and model. She is primarily known for her role as Pam in Tobe Hooper's 1974 cult horror film *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre*. Her performance became iconic due to the celebrated and terrifying scene in which her character is hung on a meat hook by Leatherface, a moment that marked the history of the horror genre. After the film's success, her cinematic career was limited. Before her screen debut, she had studied acting and worked in theater. In the following years, she stepped away from acting, reappearing decades later to become a beloved figure on the horror convention circuit, where she met with fans of the film. She also had small roles in other productions, such as *The Butcher* (2007). Despite a limited filmography, her contribution to the horror genre earned her the status of a "scream queen" and a lasting place in popular culture.
