
Timothy Hutton
Timothy Hutton is an American actor and director, the son of actor Jim Hutton. He achieved international fame in 1980 with his role in the film *Ordinary People*, directed by Robert Redford. For this performance, at the age of twenty, he won both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor, becoming the youngest winner in the history of the Oscar category. His subsequent film career includes notable films such as *Taps* (1981), *The Falcon and the Snowman* (1985), *The Dark Half* (1993), and *Beautiful Girls* (1996). In television, he is best known for the role of Nathan Ford in the series *Leverage* (2008-2012) and for his role in the anthology series *American Crime* (2015-2017), which earned him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. He also directed the feature film *Digging to China* in 1997.
