Tom Stevenson
Tom Stevenson is a British wine writer and critic, considered one of the world's leading authorities on Champagne and sparkling wines. His career, which began in 1978, has established him as an authoritative voice in the industry. Among his most important works are the *Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia*, for which he was the general editor, and the *Christie's World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine*. He is also a renowned specialist in the wines of Alsace. His work has earned him numerous international awards, including the prestigious "The Wine Literary Award" and the title of "Wine Writer of the Year" three times. In 2014, he founded the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC), a competition that has become a global benchmark for the evaluation of sparkling wines, further consolidating his influence in the wine world.
