Torri Higginson, born Sarah Victoria Higginson (Burlington, December 6, 1969), is a Canadian actress. She is best known internationally for her role as diplomat and expedition leader Dr. Elizabeth Weir in the science fiction television series *Stargate Atlantis*, a character she had previously portrayed in the eighth season of *Stargate SG-1*.
