Trina Robbins
Trina Robbins was an American cartoonist, historian, and activist, considered a pioneering figure in underground comix and one of the first women to achieve a prominent role in the industry. Her career began in the 1960s, and in 1970 she created *It Ain't Me, Babe Comix*, the first comic book made entirely by women. She subsequently co-founded the historic anthology *Wimmen's Comix*. Later, she worked for mainstream publishers such as Marvel and DC Comics, becoming the first woman to regularly draw the character of Wonder Woman. From the 1980s onward, she focused intensively on historiography, documenting the often-overlooked contribution of women cartoonists in works such as *A Century of Women Cartoonists*. For her impact on the industry, she received numerous awards, including an Inkpot Award (1977) and induction into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2013, establishing her as one of the most influential voices in the history of comics.
