Ugo Torrente (1935-2003) was an Italian fashion designer, a prominent figure in Roman haute couture and the 'Made in Italy' brand. He founded his fashion house in Rome in 1968, opening a renowned atelier in Piazza di Spagna and quickly establishing himself as one of the leading figures on the sartorial scene. His style was characterized by a rigorous elegance, with clean lines, geometric patterns, and the use of fine materials, which attracted an international and aristocratic clientele. In addition to his clothing collections, he successfully expanded his brand into perfumes, launching his first fragrance in the 1970s, and other luxury accessories.
