Ulf Johansson
Ulf Johansson, born in Tibro on May 26, 1967, is a former Swedish biathlete who competed internationally primarily between the late 1980s and the first half of the 1990s. A specialist in team events, he built his career mainly on his successes in the relay. His first major achievement came at the 1990 World Championships, held across Minsk, Oslo, and Kontiolahti, where he won the bronze medal in the 4x7.5 km relay. The peak of his sporting career was reached two years later at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, when, together with his teammates, he again won the bronze medal in the same event. Although he never achieved any individual victories on the World Cup circuit, Johansson was a key member of the Swedish national team of his era, contributing to the team's success with his reliability and solidifying his reputation as a world-class relay athlete.
