Ümit Çırak, born in Istanbul, Turkey, on August 17, 1969, is a Turkish actor, theatre director, and acting coach. Trained at the Theatre Department of the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, he began his professional career in the early 1990s, focusing extensively on the stage. He gained significant popularity through roles in successful television series such as *Kurtlar Vadisi*, where he played the character of İplikçi Nedim, and participated in acclaimed productions like *Ezel* and *Muhteşem Yüzyıl*. His film career includes appearances in movies such as *Neredesin Firuze?* (2004) and *Hokkabaz* (2006). Alongside his acting career, Çırak is a respected teacher and has founded his own acting workshop. His work in theatre has earned him several accolades, including the Best Supporting Actor award at the Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Awards for his performance in the play *İvan İvanoviç Var mıydı Yok muydu?*.
