
Uygar Tamer
Uygar Tamer is a Turkish-French composer, producer, and sound designer, best known for his prolific collaboration with director Luc Besson. His career began with his significant work as a sound designer on the film *The Fifth Element* (1997), for which he won the prestigious César Award for Best Sound. He later solidified his reputation by composing the scores for the entire *Arthur and the Minimoys* trilogy and the additional music for *Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets* (2017). In addition to his work as a composer, Tamer has served as a music supervisor on successful productions such as *Taken 2* and *Taken 3*, and for the television series *No Limit*. In 2002, he founded his own production company, 7th Day, through which he manages his projects in the field of music for film, television, and advertising, establishing himself as a multifaceted and influential figure in the European film music landscape.
