Valeria Fabrizi (born in Verona in 1936) is an iconic Italian actress, a constant and beloved presence in cinema and national television for over sixty years. Launched into show business after placing fourth in the Miss Universe pageant in 1957, she quickly became one of the most recognizable faces of Italian comedy and the “musicarelli” films of the 1960s, working alongside big names such as Totò, Macario, and Walter Chiari. At the same time, she established herself as a leading lady of television variety shows in historic programs such as Studio Uno. Married for years to Tata Giacobetti of the Quartetto Cetra, her career spanned several eras, demonstrating remarkable versatility. In recent years, she enjoyed an extraordinary artistic renaissance thanks to her role as Sister Costanza in the hugely popular television series Che Dio ci aiuti (since 2011), which definitively established her as one of the most beloved figures among the Italian public.
