Vasilis Kolovos is a Greek actor, born in 1945 in Karditsa. A prominent figure in Greek theatre and cinema, he has built a prolific career characterized by intense and memorable performances. His training and long theatrical career have seen him collaborate with the country's most important institutions, such as the National Theatre of Greece and the Karolos Koun Art Theatre. In cinema, his name is inextricably linked to director Theodoros Angelopoulos, for whom he acted in masterpieces such as 'The Travelling Players' (O Thiasos, 1975), 'The Hunters' (1977), and 'Alexander the Great' (1980).
