
Volker Lechtenbrink
Volker Lechtenbrink (1944-2021) was a German actor, singer, and voice actor. He rose to prominence at the age of just 14 with his role in the anti-war film *The Bridge* (Die Brücke, 1959), which launched his long career. On television, he appeared in numerous popular series, including *Derrick* and *A Case for Two*, becoming a familiar face to audiences. Concurrently, he was a respected stage actor and director, particularly at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. As a singer, he was known for his gravelly voice and colloquial lyrics, achieving great success with the song *Ich mag*. He was also a prolific voice actor, lending his voice to international stars such as Dennis Quaid and Kris Kristofferson.
