William Tomomori Fukuda Sharpe, known as Will Sharpe, is a British actor, screenwriter, and director. Born in London and raised in Tokyo, he studied at the University of Cambridge, where he was president of the Footlights comedy troupe. His career as a writer and director is marked by the television series *Flowers* (2016-2018), which he created, wrote, and directed, and was acclaimed for its exploration of mental health. He went on to direct the biographical film *The Electrical Life of Louis Wain* (2021) and the miniseries *Landscapers* (2021). As an actor, he won the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the thriller series *Giri/Haji* (2019). His international recognition grew exponentially with his performance as Ethan Spiller in the second season of the anthology series *The White Lotus* (2022), which earned him an Emmy Award nomination.
