William Coryn is a French actor, voice actor, and dubbing director, born on December 16, 1957, in Paris. His voice acting career took off in the 1980s, when he voiced iconic characters such as Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, in the *Back to the Future* trilogy. He is primarily known as the official French voice for actors like Jack Black, dubbing him in successful films such as *School of Rock* and as Po in the entire *Kung Fu Panda* saga, and for Sean Astin, particularly as the character Samwise Gamgee in *The Lord of the Rings*. In animation, he was the first voice of the character SpongeBob SquarePants (Bob l'éponge) in the first two seasons of the animated series.
