
William Orlamond
William Orlamond was a Danish-born American actor, known for his prolific career as a character actor during the silent and early sound eras. Born in Copenhagen, he began his career in vaudeville before moving to Hollywood, where he specialized in portraying elderly men, often eccentric or fatherly. His filmography includes over eighty films, in which he worked alongside some of the biggest names of his time. His most notable performances include roles in major films such as King Vidor's *The Crowd* (1928), *Flesh and the Devil* (1926) alongside Greta Garbo, and *The Wind* (1928) with Lillian Gish.
