Yim Seung-min, born in 1957, is a renowned South Korean ceramic artist, internationally known for his modern reinterpretation of the traditional "moon jar" (dal-hangari). Using the ancestral techniques of Joseon dynasty white porcelain, he creates his works by joining two hemispherical bowls, a process that imparts subtle asymmetries and an organic imperfection to each piece.
