Yoku Shioya, born in Kagoshima on June 24, 1958, is a Japanese voice actor, actor, and sound director. His career is inextricably linked to iconic roles in Japanese animation, which have made him one of the most recognizable voices in the industry. He is best known for voicing Dragon Shiryū in the *Saint Seiya* series, Ryota Miyagi in *Slam Dunk*, and Shuutaro Mendou in *Urusei Yatsura*.
