Bernie Gozier, born Bernard Gozier (1917–1979), was an American actor and musician of Cherokee descent. Active primarily during the 1950s and 1960s, he specialized in portraying Native American characters, becoming a recurring face in the film and television Western genre. Among his most significant works is the role of Chief Red Cloud in the famous television series *The Lone Ranger*, which brought him considerable visibility. His career includes appearances in films such as *The Big Sky* (1952) and *The Deerslayer* (1957), as well as numerous appearances in other television productions of the era. In addition to acting, Gozier was also a talented singer and guitarist.
