Dolores Moran was an American actress, primarily active in the 1940s. After winning a beauty pageant, she secured a contract with Warner Bros., which launched her into the film industry. She gained prominence for her role in the film noir classic *To Have and Have Not* (1944), alongside Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Her filmography also includes appearances in films such as *Old Acquaintance* (1943) and the fantasy comedy *The Horn Blows at Midnight* (1945). During World War II, she became a popular pin-up, admired for her beauty. Despite a promising start, her career never reached great heights, often limiting her to supporting roles, and she did not win any major awards. She retired from acting in the early 1950s to focus on her private life, thus concluding her brief but significant presence in Hollywood cinema of the era.
