Edda Ferronao (Alessandria, July 28, 1924 – Rome, July 18, 1986) was an Italian actress, a prolific and esteemed character actress active in Italian cinema from the late 1950s to the early 1980s. Her career is inextricably linked to the golden age of the *commedia all'italiana*, collaborating with the leading directors of the period such as Dino Risi, Ettore Scola, Mario Monicelli, Federico Fellini, and Pupi Avati. Specializing in supporting yet incisive roles, she effectively portrayed working-class figures, often as housemaids, concierges, or neighbors with a gruff yet straightforward personality. Her numerous film credits include iconic films such as *I mostri* (1963), *C'eravamo tanto amati* (1974), *Profumo di donna* (1974), and *Profondo rosso* (1975).
