
Eduardo Calvo
Eduardo Calvo (Madrid, March 26, 1918 – Madrid, August 13, 1992) was a Spanish actor. A well-known character actor with a long and prolific career, he worked in over 150 film and television productions, establishing himself primarily in genre cinema. Internationally, he is best remembered for his role in Sergio Leone's film *The Good, the Bad and the Ugly* (1966), where he plays the dying soldier Stevens who reveals the location of the treasure to Tuco. He collaborated with numerous Spanish and Italian directors, becoming a familiar face in Spaghetti Westerns and Iberian horror cinema. His career was crowned in 1993 when he posthumously received the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film *La marrana* (1992), a recognition of his significant contribution to Spanish cinema.
