
Frank Minucci
Frank Minucci (1943-2014) was an American actor and writer, known primarily for his character roles in genre films. His career was marked by portrayals of tough guys, gangsters, and police officers, roles for which his screen presence and authenticity were particularly appreciated. He frequently collaborated with director Abel Ferrara, appearing in films such as *King of New York* (1990) and *The Funeral* (1996). Among his most celebrated roles are his appearances in works by other major directors, including Martin Scorsese's *Goodfellas* (1990), Brian De Palma's *Carlito's Way* (1993), and Harold Ramis's *Analyze This* (1999). In addition to acting, Minucci pursued a passion for writing: he co-wrote the screenplay for the film *Fixing the Shadow* (1992) and published the memoir *Cosa Nostra: A Memoir of a Reluctant Hood*. His career also includes appearances in successful television series such as *Law & Order* and *The Sopranos*.
