
Harry Shum Jr.
Harry Shum Jr. is a Costa Rican-American actor, dancer, and choreographer of Chinese descent. He began his career as a professional dancer, performing with world-renowned artists such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Jennifer Lopez, and appearing in the iconic iPod silhouette commercials. His international recognition came with the role of Mike Chang in the television series *Glee* (2009-2015), where he showcased his exceptional dancing skills. Subsequently, he consolidated his success by portraying the warlock Magnus Bane in the fantasy series *Shadowhunters* (2016-2019), a performance that earned him a People's Choice Award for Male TV Star of 2018. In film, he has appeared in successful movies such as *Crazy Rich Asians* (2018) and, most notably, the award-winning *Everything Everywhere All at Once* (2022), for which he won a Screen Actors Guild Award along with the entire cast. Since 2022, he has been a part of the main cast of the medical drama *Grey's Anatomy* in the role of Dr. Benson Kwan.
