Jean-Louis Blondeau
Jean-Louis Blondeau, born in 1938, is a French photographer and filmmaker, known primarily for his historic collaboration with the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude. His career is inextricably linked to the 1964 performance in which he became the living subject of the work *Package on Rollers*, completely wrapped by Christo and pushed on roller skates through the streets of Paris. This event marked the beginning of a long professional partnership, during which Blondeau documented numerous monumental installations by the couple with his still and film cameras, becoming one of their principal visual chroniclers. In addition to his work with Christo and Jeanne-Claude, his body of work includes film direction and independent photography projects. His works, which blend performance art and documentation, have received significant international recognition and are now held in prestigious collections, including those of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
