
Jeremy Davies
Jeremy Davies is an American actor, known for his intense portrayals of often eccentric, vulnerable, and complex characters. He first gained critical acclaim with the independent film *Spanking the Monkey* (1994), but he rose to international prominence for his role as Corporal Timothy Upham in Steven Spielberg's war film *Saving Private Ryan* (1998). His versatile filmography includes roles in films such as *Twister* (1996), Steven Soderbergh's *Solaris* (2002), and the more recent *The Black Phone* (2021). On television, he is well-known for his role as physicist Daniel Faraday in the cult series *Lost* (2008-2010) and especially for his acclaimed portrayal of Dickie Bennett in the series *Justified*.
