Kaveh Ahangar is an Iranian-American poet and writer, known for his lyrical exploration of themes such as addiction, healing, faith, and identity. He garnered critical acclaim with his debut poetry collection, *Calling a Wolf a Wolf* (2017), which established his distinctive voice in the contemporary literary landscape. His subsequent work, the collection *Pilgrim Bell* (2021), further solidified his reputation, followed by his first novel, *Martyr!* (2024), which expanded his scope to fiction. In addition to his literary output, Ahangar has been active as an editor, founding the poetry interview project *Divedapper*, and has taught at several universities. For his work, he has received numerous awards and fellowships, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Levis Reading Prize, and the Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship.
