Lina Leandersson (born September 27, 1995, in Falun) is a Swedish actress. She achieved international fame at the age of twelve with her debut role, portraying the vampire Eli in the 2008 horror film *Let the Right One In* (*Låt den rätte komma in*), directed by Tomas Alfredson. Her intense performance, although her voice was dubbed to make it more androgynous, received unanimous acclaim from critics worldwide, leading her to receive numerous awards and nominations. Notable among these were her win for Best Breakthrough Performance at the Online Film Critics Society Awards and a nomination for the prestigious Guldbagge Award for Best Actress, Sweden's highest film honor. Following this success, she has pursued her career more selectively, appearing in the film *Ömheten* (2013) and some short films, in addition to dedicating herself to theater and her studies, choosing not to immediately pursue a full-time career in Hollywood.
