
Nina Paw Hei-Ching
Nina Paw Hei-Ching (鮑起靜; born July 20, 1949) is an award-winning actress from Hong Kong. Her career began in the 1970s, and she became a leading figure in television through her long association with broadcaster Asia Television (ATV) and its previous incarnations. Although she had appeared in numerous films, her cinematic breakthrough came in 2008 with Ann Hui's film *The Way We Are*. For her portrayal of a widowed mother, she gained widespread critical acclaim, winning the Best Actress award at the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards and the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. Since then, she has continued to take on significant roles in both film and television, such as in *Rigor Mortis* (2013) and *Show Me Your Love* (2016), consolidating her reputation as a versatile actress acclaimed for her ability to bring realistic and complex human characters to the screen.
