Paris Themmen, born in Boston on April 25, 1959, is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Mike Teavee in the 1971 film *Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory*. His career began as a child on Broadway, but after the film's success, Themmen stepped away from acting to focus on his studies, graduating from New York University. Subsequently, he pursued an eclectic career that has included working as a real estate agent, financial consultant, casting director, and a photographer for film productions. In recent years, he has returned to making sporadic television and film appearances, and he regularly attends conventions and fan gatherings dedicated to the film that made him famous.
