
Per Ragnar
Per Ragnar, born on May 29, 1941, in Kalmar, is a Swedish actor, director, and writer. Trained at the prestigious Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) school in Stockholm from 1962 to 1965, he has built a solid and versatile career primarily in theatre, working as an actor and director in numerous productions. To international audiences, he is best known for his iconic and complex role as Håkan in the 2008 cult horror film *Låt den rätte komma in* (Let the Right One In). His extensive filmography also includes appearances in productions such as the television series *Tre kärlekar* and the film *Psalmer från köket* (Kitchen Stories). In addition to acting, Ragnar is a prolific author, having written several novels and essays. For his significant contribution to Swedish arts and culture, in 2011 he was awarded the prestigious royal medal Litteris et Artibus by H.M. the King of Sweden.
