Robert Hammond Patrick Jr. (born November 5, 1958) is an American actor. His career was launched internationally by his role as the antagonist T-1000 in James Cameron's film *Terminator 2: Judgment Day* (1991). For this performance, characterized by an impassive menace, he won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. In television, he is primarily known for playing Special Agent John Doggett in the final two seasons of the science fiction series *The X-Files* (2000-2002), a role that further consolidated his fame.
