
Scott H. Reiniger
Scott H. Reiniger is an American actor, born in White Plains, New York, primarily known for his role as Roger "Trooper" DeMarco in George A. Romero's 1978 cult horror film *Dawn of the Dead*. His portrayal of a SWAT team member trapped in a shopping mall during a zombie apocalypse is considered iconic within the genre. After collaborating with Romero again on *Knightriders* (1981), Reiniger stepped away from acting for a long period, dedicating himself to teaching literature. He returned to the screen in the 2000s, appearing in a cameo in the 2004 remake of *Dawn of the Dead* and participating in several independent productions. While he has not received major film awards, his primary recognition comes from the cult figure status he maintains among horror film enthusiasts, which is solidified by his appearances at numerous genre conventions. He is also known for holding the noble title of Prince of Ghor.
