
Vincenzo Crocitti
Vincenzo Crocitti (Rome, July 16, 1949 – Rome, September 29, 2010) was an Italian actor, a noted character actor in film and television. His career reached its peak in 1977 with the film *Un borghese piccolo piccolo*, directed by Mario Monicelli, where he played the role of Mario Vivaldi, the son of Alberto Sordi's character. For this performance, considered his most famous, he won both the David di Donatello and the Nastro d'argento for Best Supporting Actor. A prolific performer in over one hundred films, he specialized in supporting roles, often embodying shy, awkward, or unlucky characters, becoming a familiar face in the *commedia all'italiana* and *poliziotteschi* genres of the 1970s and 1980s. His numerous credits include *Febbre da cavallo* (1976), directed by Steno, and collaborations with directors such as Pupi Avati and Sergio Corbucci. In his later years, he was also very active in successful television productions, including the series *Un medico in famiglia* and *Carabinieri*.
