
Waise Lee Chi-Hung
Waise Lee Chi-Hung (李子雄; born December 19, 1959) is a Hong Kong actor. He began his career in the mid-1980s, achieving fame with his debut film, *A Better Tomorrow* (1986) by John Woo. His portrayal of the antagonist "Shing" earned him nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards. This role established him as one of Hong Kong cinema's leading supporting actors, often cast to play sophisticated antagonists or morally ambiguous characters. He continued his collaboration with Woo in iconic films such as *The Killer* (1989) and *Bullet in the Head* (1990), and appeared in other major productions such as *A Chinese Ghost Story II* (1990). His prolific filmography also includes numerous television series for the broadcaster TVB and, in more recent years, productions in mainland China, solidifying his status as a recognizable face in Asian cinema.
