Zlatko Burić

Zlatko Burić (Osijek, May 13, 1953) is a Croatian-Danish actor. Trained in theatre in his native Croatia, where he co-founded the avant-garde group Kugla Glumište, he moved to Denmark in the 1980s. His film career gained international recognition through his collaboration with director Nicolas Winding Refn, playing the iconic role of Serbian drug lord Milo in the *Pusher* trilogy (1996, 2004, 2005), which earned him a Bodil Award, the most prestigious honor in Danish cinema. He later appeared in big-budget productions such as Roland Emmerich's *2012* (2009) and consolidated his fame with the role of Russian oligarch Dimitry in Ruben Östlund's film *Triangle of Sadness* (2022). For this latter performance, he received the most prestigious award of his career, winning the European Film Award for Best Actor and establishing himself as a leading figure in contemporary European cinema.
