Robert "Bob" Persichetti is an American animator, screenwriter, and director, known primarily for his work in animation. He began his career in the 1990s at Walt Disney Animation Studios, contributing as an animator to successful films such as *Hercules* (1997), *Mulan* (1998), and *Tarzan* (1999). Subsequently, he took on roles with greater responsibility in story development, working as head of storyboard for productions such as DreamWorks Animation's *Puss in Boots* (2011) and *The Little Prince* (2015). His career culminated with his directorial debut, co-directing the critically acclaimed feature film *Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse* (2018). For this film, along with co-directors Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman, he received the industry's highest accolades, winning the Academy Award, the Golden Globe, and the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
