Abdol-Hossein Bagheri
**Abdol-Hossein Bagheri (Tehran, 1941 – Tehran, 2021)** was an Iranian actor known for his prolific career in pre-revolutionary cinema.
He distinguished himself by portraying robust characters, often menacing or ambiguous, imbuing them with an intense and memorable screen presence. His imposing physique and penetrating gaze made him ideal for roles as gangsters, laborers, or strong-willed marginal figures.
Among his most iconic performances is his role in Fereydoun Goleh's film *Kandou* (The Beehive, 1975), where his portrayal of a gangster left an indelible mark. He also appeared in significant works such as Masoud Kimiai's *Khak* (The Earth, 1973) and *Yekshanbe-ye khooni* (Bloody Sunday, 1976).
