André Guibert

André Guibert (1902-1984) was a prolific French actor, renowned for his extensive film career as a character actor. He became a familiar face in French cinema, often cast in supporting yet impactful roles.

His most significant collaboration was with director Henri-Georges Clouzot, under whose direction he appeared in some of his most iconic films. Notable among these are *Le Corbeau* (1943), *Quai des Orfèvres* (1947), *Le Salaire de la peur* (1953), and the celebrated *Les Diaboliques* (1955).
