**Anna Paquin** (Winnipeg, Canada, July 24, 1982) is a Canadian-New Zealand actress. She gained international fame and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at just 11 years old for her role in Jane Campion's *The Piano* (1993), making her one of the youngest winners in Academy Awards history.
Subsequently, she consolidated her career by portraying the mutant Rogue in the popular *X-Men* saga (2000-2014), a role that brought her widespread recognition. Among her other notable films are *Almost Famous* (2000), *25th Hour* (2002), and, more recently, Martin Scorsese's *The Irishman* (2019).
