Arturo Dominici (1918-1992) was a prolific Italian character actor, known for his imposing stage presence and deep voice. He specialized in roles as antagonists, authoritarian figures, sinister aristocrats, or exotic characters.

He left an indelible mark on Italian genre cinema, ranging from peplum to horror, giallo to spaghetti western. He is particularly remembered for his iconic performance as the vampire Andrej Chetyrnov in Mario Bava's *Black Sunday* (1960), with whom he collaborated frequently (e.g., *Blood and Black Lace*, *Lisa and the Devil*).

He also appeared in international productions such as Sergio Leone's *The Good, the Bad and the Ugly* (1966), and Federico Fellini's *Roma* (1972). His ability to portray complex and often menacing characters made him an unforgettable figure in Italian cinema.
