**Barbara Bouchet** (born Barbara Goutscher, 1944) is an Italian-German actress, an icon of 1970s Italian genre cinema. She debuted in Hollywood in supporting roles, gaining prominence in *Casino Royale* (1967). After moving to Italy, she became a highly sought-after actress for her beauty and sophisticated sensuality.
She starred in numerous *giallo* films, distinguishing herself in classics such as Lucio Fulci's *Don't Torture a Duckling* (1972), and *poliziotteschi* films, including Fernando Di Leo's celebrated *Milano Calibro 9* (1972). She was also a key figure in Italian sex comedies (*commedia sexy all'italiana*), where she often portrayed modern, strong-willed women.
