Basel Adra is a Palestinian activist and journalist. Although not an actor in the traditional sense, he has become a central figure in the film world thanks to the award-winning documentary *No Other Land* (2024).

Adra is the co-director and protagonist (playing himself) of this work, which documents with urgency and intimacy the struggle of his community in Masafer Yatta, in the West Bank, against occupation and evictions. The film won the Audience Award and the Best Documentary Award at the 2024 Berlinale.

His “style” is characterized by raw authenticity, direct testimony, and an unwavering courage in showing resilience and suffering. He does not play a role, but lives and documents his reality, offering the audience a powerful and unfiltered perspective on life under occupation.
